Description
The BenQ RE9804FV2 is the 98-inch board in the Essential RE04F V2 line, built for lecture theatres, training suites and large boardrooms where a 86-inch panel stops being readable from the back row. The IPS panel runs 4K UHD at 500 nits — brighter than the 450-nit classroom boards, which is the right trade for a room with more ambient light in it.

Conferencing hardware is built in rather than bolted on: a camera, an eight-microphone array reaching about eight metres and 2 x 20W speakers, so the board runs a video call on its own. Android 13 with Google EDLA certification gives native Play Store access on an A73 x 4 plus A53 x 4 chipset with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage.
Precision IR touch registers up to 40 simultaneous points with a sub-5ms response. Connectivity runs to three HDMI 2.0 inputs, an HDMI output, DisplayPort, VGA, USB-C with 65W power delivery, optical SPDIF and gigabit Ethernet. At 107 kg this is a two-person install on an 800 x 600 mm VESA pattern — check the wall build before ordering.
