Description

The ViewSonic IFP9851 is a 98-inch 4K interactive flat panel from the ViewBoard IFP51 series. It is EDLA-certified, which means Google's own services and the Play Store are licensed on the device rather than side-loaded — the practical difference is that school and corporate accounts sign in properly and app management works the way IT expects.

The panel runs Android 14 on an octa-core processor with 16GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Touch is ViewSonic's Ultra Fine Touch IR layer at 50 points with palm rejection, and the Write Away feature starts annotation from a pen lift rather than from opening an app. Brightness is 500 nits with a 9H hardened anti-glare, anti-fingerprint surface.

Audio and conferencing hardware are built in: a 70W speaker system with a subwoofer and an eight-element microphone array, plus USB-C with 65W power delivery on the front for single-cable laptop connection. NFC and single sign-on get a user to their own settings quickly, and an OPS slot takes a ViewSonic slot-in PC where a full Windows session is needed.

Write Away annotation

Lifting a pen to the panel starts annotation straight away — there is no app to open first. Touch is 50-point with palm rejection, so a hand can rest on the glass while writing.

70W audio with microphone array

A 25W-per-side front soundbar and a subwoofer give 70W of average output, with an eight-element microphone array built in for conferencing from the panel itself.

EDLA-certified Android 14

Google licenses its services on the device rather than them being side-loaded, so Play Store apps, managed accounts and MDM policies behave as IT expects. Runs on an octa-core processor with 16GB of memory and 128GB of storage.

NFC and SSO sign-in

A tap of an NFC card or a single sign-on login brings up that user's own launcher and settings, which keeps a shared panel from becoming a shared desktop.
