Privacy Policy

This policy governs how TopAV (a trading name of Strive AV Limited) collects, uses and discloses information when you visit topav.co.uk. By using the site you consent to the practices described here. We may revise this policy from time to time; changes take effect 180 days after being posted, and continued use of the site after that point implies acceptance.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, home or work address, and payment information.

How we use it

Information is used for marketing communications, account creation, collecting testimonials and feedback, processing payments, customer support, and order management. Any other use would require your explicit consent.

How long we keep it

Personal data is retained for between 90 days and 2 years after account inactivity, or as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Some records may be kept longer for legal compliance, fraud prevention or enforcement. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.

Photos you use in our AV planning tools

Our screen size and projector planning tools let you preview a display at true size on a photo of your own wall. The photo is processed in your browser and is not stored on our systems. The one exception is the QR code handoff: if you take the photo on your phone and send it to the computer you are planning on, the image is relayed through our server, held in memory only until that computer collects it, and deleted at the moment of collection, or discarded automatically within 15 minutes if it is never collected. It is not written to disk, not linked to you or to any account, and not used for any other purpose.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, ask for a copy of it, restrict how it's processed, request data portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a regulatory authority. Contact [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.

Security

We implement reasonable protective measures, but no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
