Description

The Poly Studio Large Room Kit for Microsoft Teams Rooms pairs the Studio E70 camera with the GC8 touch controller for boardrooms and training rooms running Teams Rooms on Windows. It is the camera-and-control half of a room build: the conferencing PC, displays and cabling are chosen separately.

The Studio E70 is a dual-lens camera with two 20 MP 4K sensors, a 120 degree wide lens and a 70 degree narrow lens, 7.3x digital zoom and coverage to roughly 25 ft. Poly DirectorAI drives speaker framing, people framing and group framing, and a motorised electronic privacy shutter closes the lenses between meetings. The camera takes a single USB Type-C connection plus RJ-45, powered by its 12 V adapter or 802.3af Class 3 PoE.

The Poly GC8 sits on the table with an 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS touchscreen at a 60 degree viewing angle. It connects to the room PC over USB and carries its own mini HDMI and USB Type-A inputs, so a laptop can share content from the table without cabling back to the PC. Where the PC is further away, an active optical USB cable or a CAT5e USB extender can be added. Both devices are managed through Poly Lens.
