Description

The BenQ SH5504 is the 55-inch model in the SH04 high-brightness signage range. At 800 nits it is roughly twice as bright as a standard 4K commercial panel, which is the point: it stays legible in a glazed lobby or a south-facing lounge where a 400-nit display washes out by mid-morning.

It is Pantone Validated and covers 95% of DCI-P3, 99% sRGB and 85% NTSC at 10-bit depth. That combination is unusual in signage and is aimed at creative, retail and education settings where brand colour has to land correctly rather than approximately. Android 13 runs on an A73 x 4 plus A53 x 4 chipset with 8GB of memory and 64GB of storage, and BenQ's X-Sign CMS handles scheduling and alerts.

This is a non-touch display. It mounts landscape or portrait on a 400 x 400 mm VESA pattern, is rated for 24/7 operation and includes an IR sensor lock so universal remotes cannot change the content. Two HDMI 2.0 inputs, two USB-A ports, Ethernet and RS-232 cover the connections.
