Description

The Poly Studio R30 is an all-in-one USB video bar for small meeting rooms, combining a 4K camera, a beamforming microphone array and a speaker in one bar that clamps to the top of a display. It is finished in Sand, with a charcoal acoustic fabric wrap across the front.

The 8-megapixel camera captures 2160p 4K UHD at 30 fps across a 110° horizontal (120° diagonal) field of view, wide enough to cover a small room without repositioning. Poly DirectorAI handles group framing, people framing, speaker framing and presenter tracking automatically, and manual pan, tilt and zoom are available through the Poly Lens Desktop App. Electronic zoom reaches 5x without tracking, or 4x with auto-tracking engaged.

Audio is handled by a three-element beamforming microphone array with a pickup range of up to 4.57 m (15 ft), backed by Poly NoiseBlockAI, Acoustic Fence and Acoustic Clarity technologies to suppress background noise and keyboard clatter and to fence out conversation from outside the room. The integrated speaker covers 100 Hz to 20 kHz.

Setup is deliberately simple: one USB Type-C cable to a laptop or room PC and one power lead. The bar is UVC and UAC plug-and-play compatible, so it works with any application that supports standard USB audio and video drivers, and it is certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports on the bar act as a hub for a wireless headset adapter or other peripherals. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are provided for management, there is a Kensington lock slot and a standard tripod thread, and inverted mounting is supported. Deployment and monitoring run through Poly Lens.

Supplied with the removable monitor clamp, power supply and cord, a 5 m USB Type-C to Type-A cable, a removable privacy cap and a setup sheet.

Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports on the bar take a wireless headset adapter or other peripherals, so the room needs fewer cables running to the table.

Flexible mounting and security

Supplied with an adjustable monitor clamp; also offers a standard tripod thread, inverted mounting and a Kensington lock slot.
