TopAV buying advice
Is the SMART T075-P right for your meeting room?
For boardrooms that want a premium picture and supply their own computing.
Shortlist the T075 Pro where the picture carries the room. The panel is QLED with Full Array Local Dimming, so the backlight dims in zones behind the image rather than across the whole screen at once, and SMART rates it at 850 cd/m² or more. Plan the computing before you order: this series has no onboard system, so the room runs from a laptop on the front USB-C, a SMART AM60 iQ appliance, or a SMART PCM13 OPS PC module in the rear slot. At 75 inches it suits a typical boardroom or medium meeting room, so measure to the furthest seat first.
Reasons to shortlist it
- The panel is QLED with Full Array Local Dimming, rated by SMART at 850 cd/m² or more with a lifespan of 50,000 hours or more, behind 4 mm fully heat-tempered glass that is bonded and treated for glare and fingerprints.
- HyPr Touch with Advanced IR supports up to 50 touch points, depending on the operating system in use, so several people can write across the width of a 75-inch panel at the same time rather than taking turns.
- One front USB-C carries video, touch and 100W of power delivery to a laptop, with a second USB-C at the rear; three HDMI 2.1 inputs, one front and two rear, cover the rest of the room.
- Two 20W speakers with a 20W subwoofer and an integrated linear eight-microphone array with onboard acoustic echo cancellation, so a call in a mid-sized room needs no separate soundbar or microphone.
- We are a SMART Platinum partner, so warranty claims and replacements go through us rather than a queue.
Check before you choose
- 75 inches suits a typical boardroom. Check the wall width and the furthest seat before ordering: a small huddle room may read better at 65 inches, and a long room or a training space usually wants the 86-inch model.
- There is no computer and no mount in the box. SMART lists the AM60 iQ appliance and the PCM13 OPS PC modules as separate order codes, and we stock them separately, so budget for computing, mounting and installation alongside the display.
- Simultaneous tool differentiation and Object Awareness need a computer connected and running SMART Product Drivers, and SMART supports tool differentiation only in SMART Notebook and SMART Ink. Confirm with your IT team that the drivers can be deployed on whatever drives the room.
See the 75" on your wall, to scale
On a phone, point your camera at the wall and see the 75" there at its real size. On a computer, upload a photo of the wall (or scan the QR code to take one with your phone and it will appear here) and drag the display around it to scale.
Not sure 75" is the right size for the room? The screen size calculator shows how far a 75" display carries for presentations, touch work and video.
What to plan before installing the T075-P
01
Size & sightlines
Measure the longest viewing distance and the smallest text people need to read, and allow reach to the lower part of the glass for anyone writing on it.
02
Mount & connections
Check wall construction, mounting height, power and data before delivery. Typical power draw on this size is 107W, and a PC module fitted in the rear OPS slot adds to that. SMART lists a 800 x 400 mm (M8) VESA pattern.
03
Computing & software
Decide what drives the room: a laptop on the front USB-C, a SMART AM60 iQ appliance, or a SMART PCM13 OPS PC module in the rear slot. SMART lists SMART Meeting Pro along with SMART Product Drivers and SMART Ink as included software. Tell us if you need mounting, cabling or installation.
Display price is for the panel. Installation and optional equipment are quoted separately. Purchase-order terms are available to approved education customers.
Build a quote you can compare
Include these details in your project enquiry so the quote covers the room as well as the screen.
- Number of displays, site postcode and required date.
- Furthest viewing distance and available wall space.
- Wall type, fixed mount or adjustable trolley, and cable routes.
- Laptop model, teaching apps, and any camera or Windows PC needs.
Ask for separate equipment, delivery, installation and licence costs, with a total including VAT. Confirm warranty coverage and any registration requirements before placing the order.

SMART T075-P questions answered
Who is the SMART Board T075 Pro best suited to?
Consider it for a boardroom or medium meeting room where picture quality matters and the room brings its own computing. The QLED panel with local dimming and a rated 850 cd/m² or more suits a space with daylight on the glass. Check that the smallest text is readable from the furthest seat before settling on 75 inches.
Does the T075 Pro have a built-in operating system?
No. The T Pro series has no onboard system, which is why SMART lists computing as a separate choice on the specification sheet. You drive it from a laptop on the front USB-C, from a SMART AM60 iQ appliance, or from a SMART PCM13 OPS PC module fitted in the rear slot. We stock the AM60 and the PCM13 modules as separate products, so tell us which route you want quoted.
Can I connect a laptop with a single USB-C cable?
Yes. The front USB-C port carries video, touch data and up to 100W of power delivery, so one cable connects and charges most laptops. Your laptop and cable must support DisplayPort over USB-C, and a laptop that needs more than 100W will still want its own charger. A USB-C cable is supplied in the box.
What does QLED with Full Array Local Dimming give you?
It lets the backlight dim in zones behind the picture rather than across the whole panel at once, which holds dark areas darker while bright areas stay bright. SMART rates this series at 850 cd/m² or more with a panel lifespan of 50,000 hours or more, at 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) in 16:9. Typical power draw on the 75-inch model is 107W.
How many people can use it at once?
SMART lists up to 50 touch points, depending on the operating system in use, through HyPr Touch with Advanced IR. Across a 75-inch panel that comfortably allows several people to write together. The usable number in practice depends on the application and the operating system driving the display.
Do the pen and finger work differently without a computer?
Not on their own. SMART lists simultaneous tool differentiation and Object Awareness as requiring a computer connected and running SMART Product Drivers, and states that tool differentiation is supported only in SMART Notebook and SMART Ink. Two pens are supplied with magnetic, frame-mounted holders. The sheet does not list erasers among the included items.
What is in the box?
The display, two pens, a remote control with batteries, a country-specific power cable, a USB A to B cable and a USB-C cable, plus installation instructions. There is no mount, no camera and no computer. Order the mount, the AM60 or PCM13 computing option and any camera alongside the display.
What software comes with it?
SMART lists SMART Meeting Pro along with SMART Product Drivers and SMART Ink as the included software. SMART TeamWorks also appears in the software block on the specification sheet, but the sheet does not make clear whether it is included or optional, so confirm licensing with us before you rely on it.
Which inputs and ports does it have?
Three HDMI 2.1 inputs, one on the front and two at the rear, plus two USB-C ports, one front and one rear, and a rear OPS slot for a PC module. SMART notes that ARC and eARC work only on the HDMI 2 input, so check that if you are feeding audio back to a soundbar or an AV receiver.
Should I choose the 75-inch T075 Pro or the 86-inch T086 Pro?
Choose by viewing distance and the smallest text people need to read, not by room capacity alone. Both share the same QLED panel, 4K resolution, touch system, ports and audio, so the 86-inch model adds size rather than detail or features. Check the available wall width and the mounting height as well, because the larger panel needs more of both.
