Shortlist the TE8615A for a big classroom, a lecture space or a wide boardroom where people write on the glass and the furthest viewer is a long way back. It runs sessions on its own Android system, and the DeepContrast-IR++ layer is scanned at 200Hz with a 5ms touch response, so ink keeps up with a fast hand. It is a 68kg panel almost two metres wide, so treat the wall, the lift and the access route as part of the decision rather than an afterthought.
Reasons to shortlist it
- DeepContrast-IR++ tracks 40 touch points with 32-point writing on a supported operating system, scanned at 200Hz with a 5ms touch response and +- 1mm accuracy, so handwriting keeps pace across a panel this wide instead of lagging behind the pen.

Check before you choose
- This is a 68kg panel, 82.7kg in its box and 1955.6mm wide. Check the doorways and the lift on the delivery route, plan a multi-person install and make sure the wall or stand is rated for the load before you order.
- This is a lot of screen for an ordinary meeting room. If the furthest viewer is close and the wall is narrow, the TE7515A covers the same features in a smaller panel, and it carries 16GB of RAM against this model's 8GB.
- Four touch pens, the remote and the cables are in the box; an OPS PC module and a camera are not. iiyama rates the components for continuous operation but recommends no more than 18 hours of use a day, so agree the power schedule and the Google account policy with your IT team before rollout.

Who is the iiyama ProLite TE8615A-B2AG best suited to?

Does the TE8615A need a computer to work?
No. iiWare 21E runs on the display's own Android 14 system with a whiteboard, the iiBrowser web browser, a file manager, cloud drive access and iiShare wireless sharing built in. A laptop connects over HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C when you want to work from your own files, and an Intel OPS 80-pin module can be fitted in the rear slot if you want a full Windows PC behind the screen.
What is the difference between DeepContrast-IR++ and the IR+ on the TE7515A?
Both list 40 touch points and 32-point writing on a supported operating system with palm rejection and +- 1mm accuracy. On this model iiyama additionally publishes a 200Hz scan rate and a 5ms touch response time, which are the figures that describe how quickly the panel follows a moving pen. That matters most on a large surface where a stroke covers a lot of ground.
What does Google EDLA certification mean in practice?
It means the display is licensed to run Google's mobile services, so managed Google accounts, the Google app catalogue and Google sign-in work natively on the panel rather than through a workaround. For an organisation already using Google Workspace, that is what lets the board be enrolled and managed like any other device. Account policy and licences are agreed with your IT team separately from the hardware.
Which version of Android does it run?
It ships with iiWare 21E on Android 14. iiyama has published a later Android update for this series as a future roadmap item rather than a shipped version, so plan around Android 14 and ask us to confirm the build installed on your delivery if a particular app or policy depends on it.
How heavy is it and what does installation involve?
The display weighs 68kg and 82.7kg boxed, and measures 1955.6 x 1174.3 x 87.1mm. That is a multi-person lift on to a wall or stand rated for the load, and the boxed size needs checking against your doorways, corridors and lift. How much memory and storage does it have?
8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, driven by an RK3576 octa-core processor with Mali G52 graphics, plus a micro SD card slot. The TE7515A uses the same processor with 16GB of RAM, so if you expect many apps and browser tabs open at once the smaller panel is actually the better specified of the two on memory.
Can I connect a laptop with one cable?
Yes. The USB-C input carries DisplayPort 1.2 alternate mode video at 3840 x 2160, touch data back to the laptop and 100W of power delivery on a single lead. Your laptop and cable both have to support DisplayPort over USB-C, and a machine that draws more than 100W will still want its own charger.
How much power does it use?
iiyama lists 300W typical, 0.5W in standby and 0.3W in off mode, on an internal power supply running from 100V to 240V AC. The TE7515A is listed at 216W typical, which is worth factoring in if you are fitting several displays on one circuit.
Should I choose the TE8615A or the smaller TE7515A?
Choose by viewing distance and the smallest text in your material. Both are 4K UHD at 550 cd/m2 with the same iiWare 21E system, the same 40 touch points and the same speakers, so the larger panel adds size rather than detail. This model publishes a 200Hz touch scan rate and adds WiFi 6E and kiosk mode; the TE7515A is lighter at 54.6kg and carries twice the RAM.
