Description
The InSight S485PI covers a full 180 degrees from a single mounting point. A 1.65 mm F2.0 M12 lens spreads a 3840 x 2160 image across the whole horizontal span, which lets one camera replace two conventional units on a building corner, a wide frontage or a reception desk.
Because a panoramic view stretches the same pixel budget across more scene, TP-Link has fitted an 8MP sensor rather than the 4MP used on narrower models. Four infrared LEDs give a 20 m night range and 120 dB wide dynamic range handles the mix of bright and shadowed areas a 180-degree view inevitably includes. Red-blue warning lights provide an active visual deterrent on detection.
The turret is IK10 impact rated and IP67 sealed, rated -30 to 60 degrees C. Power is 802.3at Class 4 PoE at up to 21 W, or 12 V DC at up to 18 W. Built-in microphone and speaker plus separate audio in and out interfaces support live challenge, and one alarm in and one alarm out integrate the camera with external detectors or sounders.
