Description
The InSight S345S is TP-Link's low-light specialist. A large 1/1.79-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor behind an F1.0 4 mm lens gathers substantially more light than the 1/2.7-inch sensors used across the rest of the range, and TP-Link's ColorPro 2.0 processing with an AI-driven ISP module cleans up the result. Minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux, ten times lower than the standard full-colour models.
In practice that means usable colour footage in a yard lit only by spill from a street lamp, without switching on white LEDs. When the light does run out entirely, two integrated infrared-white LEDs provide either 30 m of infrared or 30 m of white-light illumination, activated on smart detection so the deterrent light only fires when something is happening.
The bullet housing is IP67 sealed and rated -30 to 60 degrees C. Power is 802.3at Class 4 PoE at up to 17.9 W, reflecting the higher draw of the larger sensor and illuminators; a 12 V DC input is also provided. One alarm in and one alarm out, two-way audio and a microSD slot for up to 512 GB complete the specification.
