TP-Link VIGI InSight S385PI 8MP Outdoor IR Panoramic Bullet Network Camera

The InSight S385PI is the bullet-form panoramic camera in the VIGI range, covering 180 degrees horizontally from a wall or soffit. The elongated housing puts the lens further out from the mounting surface than the S485PI turret, which suits eaves and overhangs where a turret would be looking into the fascia.

A 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records 3840 x 2160 through a 1.65 mm F2.0 lens. Four 850 nm infrared LEDs give a 20 m night range, and the camera adds smart IR, true wide dynamic range at 120 dB and 3D noise reduction to keep the wide scene readable. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux and 0 lux with infrared active.

Red-blue warning lights and one alarm in and one alarm out provide active response, while a built-in microphone and speaker with separate audio in and out ports allow live intervention. The camera runs on 802.3at Class 4 PoE at up to 21 W or 12 V DC at up to 18 W, and the IP67, IK10 housing is rated -30 to 60 degrees C.
