TopAV buying advice
Is the iiyama TE8613A-B2AG right for your classroom?
For a deep classroom, a hall or a boardroom where the back row still has to read the board.
Shortlist the TE8613A when the sightline is long enough that 75 inches would leave the back of the room squinting, and when the display has to run the lesson or the meeting on its own rather than mirroring a laptop. It is the same platform as the 75-inch model, with a licensed Google system on the panel, WiFi-6E and Bluetooth built in, and the same anti-glare bonded glass. The panel and its box are both heavy, so plan the lift and the access route as carefully as the wall.
Reasons to shortlist it
- Google EDLA certification means the licensed Google mobile services are on the panel itself, so managed accounts, the Play Store and Google's collaboration apps sign in on the display without a connected PC or a sideloaded package.
- PureTouch-IR+ registers 40 touch points with palm rejection on zero-gap air bonded glass rated 7H, with an anti-glare, anti-gloss and anti-bacterial surface, so a group can write together on a surface that stays usable in a bright room.
- One front USB-C port carries DisplayPort video, touch data and 100W of charge on a single cable, alongside a second USB-C on the side, two HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 and DisplayPort for fixed sources.
- WiFi-6E and Bluetooth are built in and two RJ45 ports with auto switching cover the wired case, so iiShare wireless presentation and iiControl device management work without adding a dongle or a network module.
- Two 20W front-facing speakers with a 20W subwoofer on the back, optical S/PDIF and a headphone output, plus ambient light, pen pick-up, PIR motion and NFC sensors and an Intel OPS slot for an optional Windows module.
Check before you choose
- 86 inches is a large panel in every direction. Check the wall width, the whiteboard or projector screen it replaces and the door and corridor the crate has to pass through before you order, and compare the 75-inch model if the room is shallow.
- The panel and its shipping crate are both heavy, as published in the specification table on this page. Treat it as a multi-person lift onto a wall or stand rated for the load, and budget separately for the mount, the installation and any OPS PC module.
- Fitting an OPS module changes the USB-C power budget: iiyama lists the front port dropping to 65W and the side port to 15W once a module is installed. Confirm how staff will charge laptops if you plan to fit one.
See the 86" on your wall, to scale
On a phone, point your camera at the wall and see the 86" there at its real size. On a computer, upload a photo of the wall (or scan the QR code to take one with your phone and it will appear here) and drag the display around it to scale.
Not sure 86" is the right size for the room? The screen size calculator shows how far a 86" display carries for presentations, touch work and video.
What to plan before installing the TE8613A-B2AG
01
Size & sightlines
Measure the longest viewing distance and the smallest text people need to read, then check the wall width and that presenters can reach the lower part of the writing area from the floor.
02
Mount & delivery
Check the wall construction, the mounting height, power and data, and walk the delivery route: doorways, lifts and stair turns all have to take a crate of this size. Decide which of the two HDMI inputs, DisplayPort or USB-C your fixed sources will use. iiyama lists a 800 x 600 mm VESA pattern.
03
Software & rollout
Decide whether the room runs on the built-in iiWare system or a connected laptop, and agree Google account policy, app licensing, wireless or wired networking and iiControl device management with your IT team. Tell us if you need mounting, cabling or a camera.
Display price is for the panel. Installation and optional equipment are quoted separately. Purchase-order terms are available to approved education customers.
Build a quote you can compare
Include these details in your project enquiry so the quote covers the room as well as the screen.
- Number of displays, site postcode and required date.
- Furthest viewing distance and available wall space.
- Wall type, fixed mount or adjustable trolley, and cable routes.
- Laptop model, teaching apps, and any camera or Windows PC needs.
Ask for separate equipment, delivery, installation and licence costs, with a total including VAT. Confirm warranty coverage and any registration requirements before placing the order.

iiyama TE8613A-B2AG questions answered
Who is the iiyama ProLite TE8613A best suited to?
Consider it for a large classroom, a lecture room, a training space or a boardroom where people read the board from the back of a deep room, and where the organisation already works in Google's tools. If the room is shallow the 75-inch model in the same series will usually do the same job for less money and less weight.
Does the TE8613A need a computer to work?
No. iiWare 21E runs on the panel with a whiteboard, a web browser, a file manager, cloud drives and iiShare wireless sharing, so a lesson or a meeting can run on the display alone. A laptop connects over USB-C or HDMI when you want to present your own files, and an Intel OPS slot takes an optional Windows module for a fixed PC behind the screen.
What does Google EDLA certification actually give you?
It means the display is licensed to carry Google mobile services rather than a generic Android build. In practice that is the Google Play Store, sign-in with managed Google accounts and Google's own collaboration apps running on the panel, which is what most schools and IT teams need for a device they have to enrol and manage centrally.
How many people can write on it at once?
iiyama publishes 40 touch points for this model, with 10-point writing when a connected computer's operating system supports HID input. Palm rejection is included, and the panel ships with four touch pens, so a group can annotate along the width of an 86-inch board without the display switching tools on them.
Can I connect a laptop with a single USB-C cable?
Yes. The front USB-C port carries DisplayPort video, touch data and up to 100W of power delivery, so one cable drives the panel and charges most laptops. Your laptop and cable have to support DisplayPort over USB-C. The side USB-C port is rated lower, and fitting an OPS module reduces both figures.
Which version of Android does it run?
It ships with iiWare 21E on Android 14, Google EDLA certified. iiyama lists a later platform release for this series as a future update rather than something in the box, so confirm the build installed on your delivery if a particular app or policy depends on it.
How much memory and storage does it have?
8 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, on an octa-core Rockchip RK3576 processor with Mali G52 MC3 graphics. Both figures are published in the specification table on this page.
Does it have wireless networking built in?
Yes. WiFi-6E and Bluetooth 5.0 are built into the panel, and there are two RJ45 network ports if you would rather run it wired. Schools and larger estates usually prefer the wired ports for a fixed display, with the wireless side used for iiShare screen sharing from phones and laptops.
How heavy is it and what does installation involve?
The panel weight and the shipping weight are both published in the specification table on this page, and both are substantial for an 86-inch display. Treat it as a multi-person lift onto a wall or stand rated for the load, and check the delivery route as well as the wall. Send us your wall type, the mounting height and the access route and we will quote the bracket and the installation with it.
Should I choose the 86-inch TE8613A or the 75-inch TE7513A?
Choose by viewing distance and the smallest text people have to read. Both share the 4K resolution, the PureTouch-IR+ glass, the iiWare system and the same audio, so the larger panel adds size rather than detail. The 86-inch model is heavier and draws more power, and iiyama's page for the 75-inch model does not publish a touch-point figure, so ask us if that comparison matters to you.
