Description
The VP2120 is aimed at small collaboration spaces where people arrive with their own laptops and phones. It combines a video matrix switch, quad-view multistreaming, audio DSP and an idea-sharing platform in one compact metal box, and the network port lets mobile devices connect wirelessly through the ATEN Video Presentation Control app.
Up to four streamed sources can be shown at once in a quad view, and switching between them is seamless rather than dropping the display to black. A wired HDMI input covers the room PC or a guest laptop, two HDMI outputs feed the room displays, and a microphone input and stereo output handle the audio.
Front-panel controls include a volume knob, a room-info button and a menu cluster, and the unit accepts IR and Ethernet control. It runs from an external 12 V supply and weighs a little over a kilogram.
