Description
The ViewSonic LD-SCB-025 is the system control box for ViewSonic LDC configurable direct view LED walls. It takes the video sources, does the scaling and image stitching across the cabinet array, and distributes power and data out to the tiles — the work that would otherwise need a separate sending card, processor and power distribution in a signal rack.
It drives up to 3,900,000 pixels, with a maximum canvas of 10,240pixels wide by 8,192 pixels high, using a VX600 Pro processor. Video comes in over 3 HDMI inputs with USB and dual gigabit Ethernet alongside, and 6 Ethernet ports feed the cabinet array.
'Because the box mounts in a rack rather than behind the wall, the LED array itself can be installed close to flush with the wall surface, and the electronics stay reachable for service without touching the screen. Control is over TCP/IP or RS232, and the box supports 24/7 operation with PIP and PBP across its HDMI inputs.
