Sony ZRD-BH12D Crystal LED BH Series 1.27 mm Video Wall Cabinet

The ZRD-BH12D is a cabinet from Sony's Crystal LED BH Series, the brightness-led half of Sony's latest premium direct-view LED range. Each cabinet carries a 1.27 mm pixel pitch and a 480 x 270 pixel array, and peaks at 1,700 cd/m2 - bright enough to hold its own in glazed lobbies, atria and retail floors where ambient light usually washes an LED wall out. An anti-reflection coating on the panel surface keeps reflected light off the image rather than letting it bounce back at the audience.

Picture processing comes from Sony's X1 for Crystal LED processor, driving the panel at up to 120 fps with 22-bit internal processing. Reality Creation upscales lower-resolution source material so it does not look coarse when it is blown up across a wall, and Motionflow smooths fast movement. Colour coverage is approximately 86% of BT.2020 and 97% of DCI-P3, with contrast quoted above 1,000,000:1 in a dark room.

Cabinets are borderless, so they tile into any wall shape or aspect ratio without visible seams. Each one measures 610 x 343 x 69 mm and weighs about 8.6 kg, and all components and cabling are reachable from the front - which matters when a wall is built against a solid surface with no rear access. Modules are pre-assembled and calibrated at the factory. A ZRCT-300 display controller is required to drive the wall and is ordered separately.
