TP-Link VIGI InSight S655I 5MP IR Fisheye Network Camera

The InSight S655I is a ceiling-mounted fisheye that captures a full 360-degree overhead view from a single position. A 1.44 mm F2.0 lens on a 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records 2560 x 1920, and the camera dewarps that circular image on board into panorama, cylinder and virtual PTZ views depending on how it is mounted.

For a retail floor, an open-plan office or a small warehouse this replaces several fixed cameras and removes blind spots between them, at the cost of resolution on any single subject. Four 850 nm infrared LEDs give a 10 m night range, which matches the working distance of a typical ceiling mount, and 120 dB true wide dynamic range handles skylights and window glare.

The housing is IP67 sealed and IK10 impact rated, running from -30 to 60 degrees C at up to 95 per cent non-condensing humidity. Power is 802.3af/at Class 0 PoE at up to 12.14 W or 12 V DC at up to 11.76 W. Two-way audio uses G.711 a-law at 8 kHz, and the microSD slot takes cards up to 512 GB.
