Description

This is the 4 mm lens build of the InSight S285 8MP dome. Coverage narrows to 88 degrees horizontally, which puts the full 3840 x 2160 sensor onto a smaller area and lifts identification distance considerably over the 2.8 mm version.

The camera is otherwise identical: 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS, F1.6 optics, 120 dB wide dynamic range, and switchable IR or white LED illumination reaching 30 m from a 0.005 lux minimum. The dome carries IK10 impact and IP67 ingress ratings and runs from -30 to 60 degrees C.

Power is 802.3af/at PoE at up to 12.3 W over the video cable, or 12 V DC locally. Two-way audio and a microSD slot for up to 512 GB of edge recording are built in, so the camera keeps recording through a network outage.
