Description
The InSight S245ZI is the motorised-zoom dome in TP-Link's VIGI range. A 2.7-13.5 mm lens with 5x optical zoom lets you set the field of view remotely anywhere between 102 and 29.6 degrees horizontally, so the camera can be commissioned and re-framed from the VIGI app without a second visit to the ladder.
The 1/2.9-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records 2688 x 1520 with 120 dB wide dynamic range. Four infrared LEDs give a 60 m night range, twice that of the fixed-lens S245, which matches the longer reach the zoom lens is there to provide. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux and 0 lux with the IR active.
A single Cat5e run supplies 802.3af/at Class 0 PoE at up to 12 W. Alarm in and alarm out contacts let the camera trigger or be triggered by external devices, audio in and out interfaces support a separate microphone and speaker, and the microSD slot takes cards up to 512 GB. The IK10, IP67 housing is rated -30 to 60 degrees C.
