Description
The BN8035F/NDAA is Bolide's active-deterrent bullet: a 5MP camera with a built-in white-light floodlight, a passive infrared sensor and two-way audio, so it can detect an approach, light the area and let an operator speak to whoever is there.
A 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records 2592 x 1944 through a 2.8 mm F1.85 fixed lens covering 116 degrees diagonally. Minimum illumination is 0.002 lux at F1.2 with automatic gain control on, and 0 lux with the infrared array active; the two-array smart infrared reaches 66 feet across a 100-degree spread. The PIR sensor covers up to 115 degrees to a distance of 60 feet.
The camera is NDAA compliant, which matters for public-sector and defence-adjacent procurement in the UK as well as the US. It is built in a metal housing rated IP66, runs from 12 V DC at 4.2 W and starts from cold down to -20 degrees C, with an operating range down to -40 degrees F. Onboard AI includes rare-sound detection for glass, dog barking and gunshot events.
