Description
The Sharp A824U-W is a WUXGA 3LCD installation laser projector for higher-education, corporate and house-of-worship venues that need more brightness and installation flexibility than the entry V-series. It delivers 8,200 lumens (8,600 centre, ISO 21118-2012 compliant) at native 1920x1200 resolution with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and supports up to 4K/60 signal input. Five interchangeable motorized lenses are available separately, with the standard XP-41ZL giving a 1.3-3.02:1 throw ratio, and wide motorized lens shift (H:+/-20, V:+10/-50). A sealed laser light engine rated for 25,000 hours removes the need for lamp or filter maintenance, and built-in edge blending and stacking support multi-projector installations. Connectivity includes HDBaseT and dual HDMI 2.2 inputs, plus RS-232 and Ethernet control for integration into managed AV systems.
