Description
The Sharp A201U-B is Sharp's flagship WUXGA installation laser projector, purpose-built for corporate auditoriums, universities, museums and large-scale projection mapping. It is the first and only LCD projector in its class to use RB (red and blue) laser technology, delivering 20,000 lumens (21,000 centre) with near-DCI-P3 colour coverage at native 1920x1200 resolution and a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. A sealed, filter-free optical engine carries an IP5X dust rating and a laser light source rated for up to 25,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Six motorized lens options are sold separately, from ultra-short throw (0.53:1) to long throw (7.5:1), with wide motorized lens shift and lens memory for flexible, roll-free installation. Connectivity is built for large installations: 3G-SDI, HDBaseT in/out and dual HDMI, plus RS-232 and RJ45 LAN control. This is the black-cabinet variant; the lens must be selected and purchased separately.
