Description
The Vivitek DU7299Z-BK is the top model in the DU7000 large-venue laser series, a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) single-chip DLP projector rated at 10,000 ANSI lumens with a 3,000,000:1 full on/off contrast ratio. Vivitek's current EU spec sheet lists 10,000 ANSI lumens, an update on the 9600-lumen figure carried by some older reseller listings. The lamp-free laser light source is rated for up to 20,000 hours, giving a low total cost of ownership for corporate meeting rooms, auditoriums and sports arenas. Like the DU7199Z, it uses nine interchangeable motorised lenses across a 0.50:1 to 8.3:1 throw ratio range, with motorised zoom, focus and lens shift (vertical bottom 50% to top 70%, horizontal +/-15%) for precise placement. HDBaseT support over the RJ45 ports allows 4K-capable audio/video and control signal transmission up to 100m from a single cable run, and the IP6X-rated engine supports 24/7 operation. Connectivity covers dual HDMI 2.0, DVI-D, VGA in/out, 5-BNC component, USB-B, dual RS-232 and dual RJ45 with HDBaseT. Built-in 10W x2 speakers, 360-degree installation and keystone/geometric correction round out the feature set. The DU7299Z-BK is covered by Vivitek's 5-year (or 20,000-hour laser) warranty.
