Is the iiyama TE9813A-B2AG right for your classroom?
For a lecture theatre, a hall or a large training room where a smaller panel would be unreadable at the back.
Shortlist the TE9813A only when the room genuinely needs the size: a long lecture theatre, an assembly hall, a large boardroom or a design studio where several people work on the surface at once. It is the same platform as the 75 and 86-inch models, with a licensed Google system on the panel and the same anti-glare bonded glass, but it writes with 32 points rather than 10. The trade is weight and access, and both are significant enough to settle before you order rather than on delivery day.

- Google EDLA certification means the licensed Google mobile services are on the panel itself, so managed accounts, the Play Store and Google's collaboration apps sign in on the display without a connected PC or a sideloaded package.

Plan a multi-person lift with proper lifting equipment, confirm the wall or stand is engineered for the load, and expect a specialist installation rather than a two-handed wall hang.
- Measure the access route before you order, not after. Doorways, corridor turns, lift cars and ceiling heights all have to take a crate for a 98-inch panel, and a delivery that cannot reach the room is the most common way an order of this size goes wrong.
- The panel ships on Android 14 and iiyama lists a later platform release for this series in future. Who is the iiyama ProLite TE9813A best suited to?
Consider it for a lecture theatre, an assembly hall, a large training room or a boardroom where the back row is far enough away that an 86-inch panel would be hard to read. It is not a general classroom display: for a standard room the 86-inch or 75-inch models in the same series cost less, weigh far less and are much easier to install.
How heavy is it, and can it be wall mounted normally?
The panel weight and the crated weight are both published in the specification table on this page, and the crate is over 130 kg. It is not a two-person wall hang. Expect a specialist installation with proper lifting equipment, and have the wall construction or the stand checked against the load before you order. Send us the wall type, the mounting height and photographs of the access route and we will quote the bracket and the installation with it.
Does the TE9813A need a computer to work?
No. iiWare 21E runs on the panel with a whiteboard, a web browser, a file manager, cloud drives and iiShare wireless sharing, so a session can run on the display alone. A laptop connects over USB-C or HDMI when you want to present your own files, and an Intel OPS slot takes an optional Windows module for a fixed PC behind the screen.
What does Google EDLA certification actually give you?
It means the display is licensed to carry Google mobile services rather than a generic Android build. In practice that is the Google Play Store, sign-in with managed Google accounts and Google's own collaboration apps running on the panel, which is what most schools and IT teams need for a device they have to enrol and manage centrally.
How many people can write on it at once?
iiyama publishes 40 touch points with 32-point writing when a connected computer's operating system supports HID input, which is the highest writing figure in this series. Palm rejection is included and the panel ships with four touch pens, so a group can work along the width of the board at the same time.
Can I connect a laptop with a single USB-C cable?
Yes. USB-C carries DisplayPort video, touch data and up to 100W of power delivery, so one cable drives the panel and charges most laptops. Your laptop and cable have to support DisplayPort over USB-C. iiyama's page lists different power figures for the front and side USB-C ports once an OPS module is fitted, so tell us if you plan to fit one and we will confirm the charging arrangement before you order.

Both share the 4K resolution, the PureTouch-IR+ glass, the iiWare system and the same audio, so the larger panel adds size rather than detail, and the extra pixels per person are the same. The 98-inch model does write with more simultaneous points, but it also weighs far more, draws more power and usually needs a specialist install, so take it only when the room genuinely demands the size.
