Description
The ATEN VM8824 is a four-port output board for ATEN modular matrix switches such as the VM1600A, VM3200 and VM3250. The chassis ships empty of I/O; boards like this are what define how many sources and displays the frame handles and which connectors they use, so a system is specified by its board mix rather than by a fixed model number.
It presents 4 x HDMI Type A Female (Black) on the chassis rear. Boards are hot-swappable, so an installation can start small and grow, or change interface type later, without replacing the frame.
It scales each output to the connected display, which prevents resolution mismatches between mixed sources and mixed screens. Video is supported to 4096x2160/3840x2160@60Hz (4:4:4). Supplied to order from TopAV with ATEN's 36-month warranty.
