Description
The VM3200 is ATEN's larger modular matrix frame, with eight input slots and eight output slots that take hot-swappable I/O boards. Fully populated it provides 32 x 32 switching of whatever signal types the fitted boards support, at a data rate of up to 15.2 Gbps.
Because the interfaces come from the boards rather than the chassis, one frame can serve a mixed installation of HDMI, DVI, SDI and HDBaseT endpoints and be reconfigured later without replacing the switch. EDID handling covers Default, Port 1, Remix and Customized modes with a wizard.
The frame is managed from front-panel pushbuttons, over RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, and across Ethernet by web GUI or Telnet. It occupies 9U of rack space and draws up to 800 W with a full complement of boards.
