Description
The ATEN RCM416VA is a rack-mount KVM over IP switch that puts 16 directly attached servers on the network, so engineers can reach a keyboard, monitor and mouse session from a browser instead of walking to the rack. One local console shares the same ports as 4 independent remote sessions, and each connection runs over a Cat 5 adapter cable rather than a bulky KVM harness.

It belongs to ATEN's RCM range, which adds remote-monitoring functions on top of standard KVM over IP: the switch works with the RCMMS management software for panel-array monitoring of every attached machine, and with ATEN's Access Control Box for on-site enable/disable of remote privileges. Local console priority keeps whoever is standing at the rack in charge when it matters.
Video runs to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz, and the unit carries 2 x RJ-45 Female for redundant network paths. Supplied to order from TopAV with ATEN's 36-month warranty.
