Description
The InSight S455 is TP-Link's 5MP full-colour turret for commercial premises that need usable colour detail after dark. A 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor pairs with an F1.6 2.8 mm lens to give a 111.4-degree horizontal field of view, wide enough to cover a shop floor, reception area or loading bay from a single mounting point.
Illumination is switchable: four 850 nm infrared LEDs reach 30 m for covert monochrome night recording, and four white LEDs reach the same distance when you want full-colour footage and a visible deterrent. Minimum illumination is 0.005 lux, dropping to 0 lux with either illuminator active, and 120 dB wide dynamic range holds detail across bright doorways and dark interiors.
The camera draws power and data over a single Cat5e run using 802.3af/at PoE (12 W maximum), so it drops straight onto a VIGI NVR or any standard PoE switch. Two-way audio, a microSD slot for up to 512 GB of edge recording and an IP67 housing rated from -30 to 60 degrees C make it suitable for covered external as well as internal positions.

Four white LEDs light the scene to 30 m for colour footage after dark, or switch to four 850 nm IR LEDs at the same range for discreet monochrome recording.
Wide 111.4-degree coverage
An F1.6 2.8 mm lens on a 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor covers 111.4 degrees horizontally and 134 degrees diagonally at 2880 x 1620.
Single-cable PoE installation
802.3af/at Class 0 PoE at up to 12 W carries power and video over one Cat5e run; a 12 V DC input is available as an alternative.
Edge storage and two-way audio
A built-in microphone and speaker support two-way audio, and the microSD slot takes cards up to 512 GB for recording that survives a network outage.
