Description

The 4 mm build of the InSight S245 narrows the horizontal field of view to 80.4 degrees, putting more of the 4MP sensor onto the part of the scene you actually need to identify. It suits longer approaches, corridors and car park aisles where the 2.8 mm version would waste resolution on the periphery.

Full specifications Datasheet Compare alternatives

The sensor, housing and illumination are unchanged: a 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS recording 2688 x 1520, 120 dB wide dynamic range, and switchable IR or white LED illumination reaching 30 m with a 0.005 lux minimum. The dome is IK10 impact rated and IP67 sealed for internal or external mounting.

One Cat5e run carries 802.3af/at Class 0 PoE at up to 12.52 W; 12 V DC is available as an alternative. Two-way audio and a microSD slot for cards up to 512 GB round out the specification, with an operating range of -30 to 60 degrees C.

Key features

Tighter 80.4-degree framing

The 4 mm F1.6 lens concentrates the 4MP sensor on a narrower scene for better identification at distance.

IK10 vandal-resistant, IP67 sealed

Impact-rated dome housing suitable for reachable indoor positions and fully exposed external walls alike.

Switchable IR or white light

Both illuminators reach 30 m, so you can choose covert monochrome or full-colour deterrent lighting.

Single-cable PoE with edge storage

802.3af/at Class 0 PoE up to 12.52 W and a microSD slot for cards up to 512 GB.
