Description

The 4 mm build of the InSight S245 narrows the horizontal field of view to 80.4 degrees, putting more of the 4MP sensor onto the part of the scene you actually need to identify. It suits longer approaches, corridors and car park aisles where the 2.8 mm version would waste resolution on the periphery.

The sensor, housing and illumination are unchanged: a 1/2.7-inch progressive-scan CMOS recording 2688 x 1520, 120 dB wide dynamic range, and switchable IR or white LED illumination reaching 30 m with a 0.005 lux minimum. The dome is IK10 impact rated and IP67 sealed for internal or external mounting.

One Cat5e run carries 802.3af/at Class 0 PoE at up to 12.52 W; 12 V DC is available as an alternative. Two-way audio and a microSD slot for cards up to 512 GB round out the specification, with an operating range of -30 to 60 degrees C.
