Description
The ELF-SR2 shows stereoscopic 3D content to one viewer with no glasses and no headset. A second-generation high-speed vision sensor tracks the viewer's eye positions in real time, and a micro-optical lens layer over the 27-inch 4K panel sends a separate image to each eye. The result is an object that appears to sit in space in front of the screen, viewable while you move around it.

It is a colour-accurate panel as well as a 3D one: approximately 100 percent of both Adobe RGB and DCI-P3, 10-bit colour depth, 400 cd/m2, and EOTF options covering PQ, HLG, DICOM SIM, sRGB and gamma 2.2/2.4/2.6. That combination is why the display turns up in industrial design review, surgical planning, architecture and engineering visualisation rather than general signage.
Content is developed against Sony's SDKs for Unity, Unreal Engine 4 and 5, OpenXR, OpenGL and DirectX 11/12. Inputs are HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode, plus USB-A and an audio output. The 3D effect is designed for a viewing distance of 50 to 100 cm with the panel tilted between 45 and 135 degrees, in ambient light of roughly 100 to 1,000 lux.
