Description

The FW-65BZ40L is the 65-inch model in Sony's BZ40L range - the high-brightness tier of the BRAVIA professional display line. At 700 cd/m2 with Sony's Deep Black Non-Glare treatment it is aimed at reception areas, shop floors and meeting spaces where the lights stay on and the blinds stay open.

The IPS panel runs 3840 x 2160 with 178-degree viewing angles, an 8 ms grey-to-grey response and a dynamic contrast ratio quoted at 600,000:1. Sony's 4K HDR Processor X1 handles the picture, with HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support and 92 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Audio is 10 W per channel from down-firing speakers.

For installers, the practical details are four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, composite and analogue audio in, digital audio out, wired Ethernet and integrated wireless LAN, all side-facing. The panel is 1462 x 842 x 71 mm without its stand, weighs 21.4 kg, mounts on a 300 x 300 mm VESA pattern and runs Android TV with Sony's professional feature set including HDMI auto wake-up.
