Description

The FW-50BZ30L is the 50-inch model in Sony's BZ30L range, the workhorse tier of the BRAVIA professional line. At 440 cd/m2 it is pitched at normal interior lighting rather than shop windows, and it is rated for 24/7 operation with portrait and tilt mounting supported - the combination most digital signage installs actually need.

The VA panel runs 3840 x 2160 with a 5000:1 native contrast ratio, a dynamic contrast figure of 300,000:1 and 178-degree viewing angles. Sony's 4K HDR Processor X1 drives the picture with HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision support and 92 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Sound is 10 W per channel from down-firing speakers.

It runs Android TV with Sony's professional feature set, including Pro Mode, HDMI auto wake-up, AirPlay and Chromecast. Connections are four HDMI inputs, two USB ports, composite and analogue audio in, digital audio out, Ethernet and integrated wireless LAN. The panel is 1126 x 653 x 70 mm without its stand, weighs 12.3 kg and mounts on a 200 x 200 mm VESA pattern.
