Description
The SNOW-AAE is the S-Box that sits behind a large Samsung LED wall: it takes the incoming sources, does the scaling, HDR mapping and colour work, and feeds the cabinets over optical links. It is not a display and it is not a small media player — it is the processing engine for an installed LED array.
It handles up to 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) at 120 Hz (FRC), running Tizen 6.0 with picture processing covering AI Picture, LED HDR, HDR 10/10+, Eco Image Enhancer. Inputs are DP 1.4a, HDMI (4K 120Hz), 3x HDMI (HDCP 2.2), 2x USB; outputs are 8 x Optical, DVI, HDBT(Wi-Fi), SPDIF (Audio, Stereo). Control is over Ethernet, with MagicINFO content management and remote diagnostics, and it supports S-Box redundancy for installations that cannot afford a single point of failure.
The chassis is 440 x 60.5 x 348.9 mm and 4.2 kg, drawing 120 W typically and 130 W at maximum, and operates from 0°C ~ 40°C. Samsung quotes a 36-month warranty on this product. Specify it alongside the cabinet count for the wall it will drive.
