Description

Poly Sync 40 is a battery-powered smart speakerphone sized for huddle spaces and flexible desks. A three-microphone steerable array picks up voices to around 2.5 m and works with full-duplex audio, so two people talking at once no longer clips one of them out. Poly's noise and echo reduction runs on the device itself, independent of the meeting platform in use.

A single 50 mm driver in a bass reflex enclosure with dual passive radiators covers 75 Hz to 20 kHz at up to 89 dB SPL. It connects to a PC or Mac over a combined USB-A and USB-C cable, and to a phone or tablet over Bluetooth 5.1 with a range of up to 30 m and up to eight paired devices remembered. The internal rechargeable Li-ion battery gives up to 30 hours of talk time and recharges in under five hours.

Touch controls handle call answer and end, mute, volume, Bluetooth pairing and a programmable function button, and a separate button wirelessly daisy-chains two Sync 40 units together for a longer table. The chassis is rated IP64 against dust and water ingress and takes a standard Kensington lock. Fleets are tracked and updated through Poly Lens.
