The LG UltraGear 27G850A-B answers the usual 4K-or-fast question by refusing to pick. Dual-Mode switches the panel between 3840 x 2160 at 240Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 480Hz, so the same screen serves a detail-heavy single-player title and a competitive shooter without a second monitor on the desk.

The panel is Nano IPS Black, which is the variant LG uses where it wants IPS viewing angles with contrast closer to VA — around 2000:1 rather than the 1000:1 a standard IPS gives. Colour coverage is 99% of DCI-P3 and the display carries VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, with LG's Deep Black Pro processing on top.
