Description
The LG UltraGear evo 52G930B-B is a 52-inch 21:9 panel at 5120 x 2160 — LG markets it as the largest 5K2K gaming monitor available. The point of 5K2K over the more common 5120 x 1440 ultrawides is the extra vertical space: 2160 rows rather than 1440 makes it usable as a document and code display rather than only as a wide games screen.
It runs 240Hz with a 1ms grey-to-grey response on a 1000R curved VA panel, quoting 4000:1 typical contrast and 95% DCI-P3 coverage with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and AMD FreeSync Premium. Connectivity covers DisplayPort 2.1, two HDMI 2.1 ports and USB-C with 90W power delivery — enough to charge a laptop from the monitor over the same cable that carries the picture.
Two 10W speakers are built in, unusual at this size and class. The stand tilts, swivels and adjusts for height, and the panel takes a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount. Assembled with the stand it measures 1174.6 x 713.1 x 350.0 mm and weighs 16.8 kg — check the desk depth and the load rating before ordering.
