A 65-inch 4K UHD interactive flat panel for teaching and meeting spaces, Google EDLA certified with iiWare 21E on Android 14, PureTouch-IR+ on zero-gap air bonded anti-glare glass, and six USB ports including two USB-C connections that carry video, touch and charge.

TopAV buying advice

Is the iiyama TE6513A-B2AG right for your classroom?

For a standard classroom or meeting room where more than one person plugs into the board.

Shortlist the TE6513A-B2AG where the panel has to run the lesson or the meeting on its own rather than mirroring a laptop, and where several people bring their own device to the front. It carries six USB ports and two USB-C connections, one on the front rated at 100W and one on the side rated at 65W, so a teacher's machine and a visitor's machine can both be driven and charged without a dock in the way. The glass is zero-gap air bonded, anti-glare and anti-bacterial, which suits a bright room and a surface many hands touch. Check the furthest seat before you settle on 65 inches: a deep room or a hall may read better on the 75-inch TE7513A-B2AG in the same series.

Reasons to shortlist it

  • Google EDLA certification puts the licensed Google mobile services on the panel itself, so managed accounts, the Google app catalogue and Google's collaboration tools sign in on the display without a connected PC or a sideloaded package.
  • Six USB ports and two USB-C connections: the front USB-C carries DisplayPort video, touch data and 100W of charge on one cable, and a second USB-C on the side is rated at 65W, so two people can each drive and charge a laptop from the board rather than queueing for a single lead.
  • PureTouch-IR+ tracks 40 touch points with 10-point writing on a supported operating system, quoted to +- 1mm accuracy at a 200Hz scan rate and a 5ms touch response, with palm rejection, all on zero-gap air bonded 7H glass carrying an anti-glare, anti-gloss and anti-bacterial finish.
  • Two 20W front-facing speakers with a 20W subwoofer on the back, plus an optical S/PDIF output and a headphone jack, so lesson audio and calls carry a room without a separate soundbar.
  • Ambient light, pen pick-up, PIR motion and NFC sensors are built in, an Intel OPS slot takes an optional Windows module, and two gigabit RJ45 ports that auto switch between the PC and the Android side let an estate be driven from a desk through iiControl.

Check before you choose

  • Touch runs to 40 points but writing is 10-point on a supported operating system. Where a whole group has to write on the glass at the same moment, the TE7515A-B2AG in the TE15 range lists 32-point writing and is the better fit.
  • Budget the mount, the installation and any OPS PC module separately, and plan a multi-person lift for a 39.4kg panel that is 48.5kg in its box. Fitting an OPS module also changes the USB-C power budget: iiyama lists the front port dropping to 65W and the side port to 15W once a module is in the slot.
  • The panel ships on Android 14 and iiyama lists a later platform release for this series as a future update rather than something in the box. Confirm the build on your delivery, your Google account policy and any app licences with your IT team before rollout.

See the 65" on your wall, to scale

On a phone, point your camera at the wall and see the 65" there at its real size. On a computer, upload a photo of the wall (or scan the QR code to take one with your phone and it will appear here) and drag the display around it to scale.

What to plan before installing the TE6513A-B2AG

01

Size & sightlines

Measure the longest viewing distance and the smallest text people have to read, then check that pupils or presenters can reach the lower part of the writing area at the mounting height you have in mind.

02

Mount & connections

Check the wall construction, the mounting height, power and data, and plan the lift and the access route for a 39.4kg panel. Decide which sources use the two HDMI 2.0 inputs, the DisplayPort input and the two USB-C ports, and run a wired drop to one of the two RJ45 ports if the display will be managed centrally. iiyama lists a 600 x 400 mm VESA pattern.

03

Software & rollout

Decide whether the room runs on the built-in iiWare system, a connected laptop or an optional OPS PC module in the rear slot, and agree Google account policy, app licensing and iiControl device management with your IT team. Tell us if you need mounting, cabling, a trolley or a camera quoted with it.

Display price is for the panel. Installation and optional equipment are quoted separately. Purchase-order terms are available to approved education customers.

Build a quote you can compare

Include these details in your project enquiry so the quote covers the room as well as the screen.

  • Number of displays, site postcode and required date.
  • Furthest viewing distance and available wall space.
  • Wall type, fixed mount or adjustable trolley, and cable routes.
  • Laptop model, teaching apps, and any camera or Windows PC needs.

Ask for separate equipment, delivery, installation and licence costs, with a total including VAT. Confirm warranty coverage and any registration requirements before placing the order.

iiyama TE6513A-B2AG questions answered

Who is the iiyama ProLite TE6513A-B2AG best suited to?

Consider it for a classroom, a training room or a meeting room where the display has to run content on its own, and where more than one person will plug a device into it. At 65 inches it suits a standard room; measure the furthest reading position against the smallest text you use, and look at the 75-inch TE7513A-B2AG if the room is deep.

Does the TE6513A-B2AG need a computer to work?

No. iiWare 21E runs on the panel's own Android 14 system with a whiteboard, a web browser, a file manager, cloud drive access and iiShare wireless sharing built in, so a lesson or a meeting can run on the display alone. A laptop connects over USB-C, HDMI or DisplayPort when you want to work from your own files, and an Intel OPS 80-pin module can be fitted in the rear slot for a full Windows PC behind the screen.

What does Google EDLA certification actually give you?

It means the display is licensed to carry Google's mobile services rather than a generic Android build. In practice that is sign-in with managed Google accounts, the Google app catalogue and Google's own collaboration apps running on the panel, which is what most schools and IT teams need for a device they have to enrol and manage centrally. Account policy and app licences are separate from the hardware, so agree those with your IT team.

Can I connect a laptop with a single USB-C cable?

Yes. The front USB-C port carries DisplayPort alternate mode video, touch data back to the laptop and up to 100W of power delivery on one lead, and a second USB-C on the side is rated at 65W. Your laptop and cable both have to support DisplayPort over USB-C, and a machine drawing more than the port supplies will still want its own charger. Fitting an OPS module lowers both figures, to 65W at the front and 15W at the side.

How many people can write on it at once?

iiyama lists 40 touch points with 10-point writing on a supported operating system, quoted to +- 1mm accuracy with palm rejection so a resting hand does not draw. That covers several people working side by side with the supplied pens, a finger or a gloved hand. If you specifically need a larger group writing simultaneously, the TE7515A-B2AG lists a 32-point writing figure.

Which version of Android does it run?

It ships with iiWare 21E on Android 14, Google EDLA certified. iiyama has published a later platform release for this series as a future roadmap item rather than a shipped version, so plan around Android 14 and ask us to confirm the build installed on your delivery if a particular app or policy depends on it.

How much memory and storage does it have?

8GB of memory and 128GB of storage, on an RK3576 octa-core processor with Mali G52 MC3 graphics. Both figures are published in the specification table on this page, so you can check them against any other panel you are comparing.

What is the picture quality like for a bright classroom?

It is an IPS panel at 3840 x 2160, quoted at 500 cd/m2 brightness, 1200:1 static contrast and an 8ms grey-to-grey response, with 88 per cent light transmittance through the touch glass and an anti-glare, anti-gloss surface. IPS holds colour off-axis, which matters when pupils sit to the side of the board rather than square to it; a room where the lights go fully down and the material is dark may prefer a panel with a deeper contrast figure.

How heavy is it and what does installation involve?

The panel weighs 39.4kg and 48.5kg in its box, so it is a multi-person lift at minimum and the wall or stand has to be rated for the load. A wall mounting bracket and a webcam mounting bracket are supplied in the box. Send us your wall type, the mounting height and the access route and we will quote the bracket, the cabling and the installation with it.

Should I choose the 65-inch TE6513A or the 75-inch TE7513A?

Choose by viewing distance and the smallest text people have to read, not by room capacity alone. Both run iiWare 21E on Android 14 with Google EDLA certification and the same PureTouch-IR+ glass, so the larger panel adds size rather than detail. Against that, the 75-inch model is heavier and draws more power, so check the wall, the access route and the sightline together. The comparison table on this page reads both product records directly if you want the figures side by side.
