BrightSign states the HD6 transforms signage into eye-catching, premium interactive experiences with diverse engagement capabilities, ultra-high-definition video playback and impressive HTML performance, making it a practical PC replacement.

The player carries an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) so it can run AI applications without compromising video or graphics performance.

Content can be held on a secure internal microSD socket, and an optional LTE modem allows deployment in locations without fixed connectivity.

The chassis is an anodized aluminium enclosure with built-in wall-mounting brackets, measures 205 x 185.9 x 19.2 mm and weighs 0.59 kg.

HD1026 is the Expanded I/O package version of the HD6. BrightSign describes it as extending engagement 'by supporting immersive options, like touchscreens, via USB and serial ports.'

Its HTML5 performance level is rated by BrightSign as 'Interactive 2D motion graphics' at HD resolution.

The Expanded I/O package adds a USB Type-A port (5V/1A to peripherals such as touch screens) and a 3.5mm RS-232 serial port over the HD226, and supports the BP200/BP900 USB button pads and the BrightSign Mobile USB modem and service.
