Description

The Yealink MTower is a cylindrical tabletop camera that sits in the middle of the meeting table and works alongside a front-of-room Yealink Microsoft Teams Rooms camera. It gives the room a second, centre-of-table perspective, so people who turn to face each other rather than the screen are still shown head-on to remote participants.

Full specifications Compare alternatives

Three 8MP Sony-sensor cameras are arranged in a ring: a central telephoto lens with an 84.4 degree horizontal field of view and two wide-angle side cameras at 151 degrees each. Yealink's IntelliVision and AI-powered best-view switching pick the best frontal view of each participant from either the front or centre camera, with processing handled by a Qualcomm QCS8550 chip.

A 6+1 microphone beamforming array on top helps locate whoever is speaking, with echo cancellation and noise cancellation built in. A magnetic levitation privacy cover rises and falls automatically to cover all three lenses. MTower connects over a single RJ-45 VCH port and ships with a tabletop bracket and 7.5 m Cat5e cable. Two units can be used together with a Yealink MVC S50 or MeetingBar A50.

Key features

Centre-of-table perspective

Captures participants from the middle of the table and, with IntelliVision, switches to whichever camera shows each person most face-on.

Three 8MP cameras

One telephoto camera (84.4 degree HFOV) and two wide-angle cameras (151 degree HFOV) with Sony sensors cover the people seated around the table.

6+1 beamforming microphones

Top-mounted mic array with echo cancellation and intelligent noise cancellation, quoted at 3 m quality pickup and up to 6 m range.

Automatic privacy cover

A silent magnetic levitation shutter covers all three lenses at once and opens and closes with the meeting status.

Single-cable connection

One RJ-45 VCH port carries the link to the room system; a 7.5 m Cat5e cable and tabletop bracket are included.

Dual MTower option

Two units can be paired with a Yealink MVC S50 or MeetingBar A50 for a more natural front-facing view with AI auto-switching.
