The ViewSonic VPC15-C53-G1 is an OPS slot-in PC for ViewSonic ViewBoard interactive displays and presentation displays. It slides into the display's OPS bay and draws power, video, audio, touch and USB through the 80-pin connector, so there is no external box, no bracket and no cable loom behind the screen.
It runs ChromeOS on Intel i5-1335U (1.3G), Turbo boost 4.6G, with 16GB DDR4 (8GB *2) of memory and 256GB SSD of storage. For an estate already managed through the Google Admin console, that is the appeal: the display's computer enrols and updates the same way a Chromebook does, and the security chip and automatic update channel are handled by Google rather than by the AV team.
Chrome Web Store extensions and Google Play Android apps both run on the device, and the boot time is short enough that a room is usable within seconds of someone pressing the panel's power button. Connectivity adds HDMI out, gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, four USB Type-A ports and USB-C.
