Description
The ViewSonic ViewBoard NotePad PF0730-I0WW is a digital writing pad that works underneath ordinary paper. You write with a real pen on whatever paper you like, and the electromagnetic sensor beneath captures the strokes and passes them to a connected Windows or Mac computer in real time.
The digitiser resolves 5080 LPI at 250 PPS with 0.25 mm accuracy and 4096 Levels of pressure sensitivity. The pen needs no battery. Because the writing surface is paper rather than glass, the feel is exactly what a teacher or a student is already used to — no screen skate, no parallax, no change in technique.
It is aimed squarely at distance learning, where the difficulty is showing working rather than showing slides. The pad is 200 x 170mm, connects over USB, and works with the usual education and design software on Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.15 or later.
