Description
The ViewSonic ID710-BWW is a 7-inch pen display — a small screen you write directly onto, connected to a Windows or Mac computer over USB. It is aimed at remote teaching and online tutoring, where handwriting a worked example on screen communicates far better than talking over a static slide.
The active area is 7 inch (5.98 x 3.38" / 154.21*85.92 mm) at 1024 x 600 pixels, and the electromagnetic digitiser resolves 5080LPI with 8192 Levels of pressure sensitivity and +/-45 ° of tilt recognition. The pen is battery-free, so there is nothing to charge and nothing to run flat mid-lesson.
At 212 x 141mm and 352g it takes up about as much desk space as a paperback, which is the point — it can sit permanently beside a laptop rather than being set up and packed away. It works with Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.15 or later, and integrates with the common education and annotation software packages.
