Description
The ViewSonic CDE5514-2C is a 55" commercial-grade 4K display built for continuous operation in offices, retail spaces, transit hubs and other high-demand environments. Despite "ViewBoard LED Display" appearing in some third-party listings, ViewSonic's own product page describes this as a non-touch display with no touch specifications listed. It uses a native 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) TFT LCD panel with DLED backlight and a 3H-hardness anti-glare coating, rated at 500 cd/m2 typical brightness, and supports both landscape and portrait orientation for varied signage layouts. The display runs Android 14 AOSP (upgradeable to Android 16) on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, and integrates with ProAV control systems including Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS and AMX for centralised estate management. Connectivity includes three HDMI 2.1 ports, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.2 and 15W power delivery, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, RS-232, RJ45 Ethernet and 3.5mm/S-PDIF audio, with two integrated 10W speakers and USB media playback with signal failover for reliable unattended operation.
