Description
The VS424HD4K60 routes four HDMI sources to four HDMI displays, letting each screen show whichever source it needs. It carries HDMI 2.0 signals at up to 18 Gbps, supporting 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, and passes audio alongside the video.
EDID management is built in, which is what usually decides whether a mixed set of displays and sources will negotiate a sensible resolution or drop to something disappointing. The unit can be operated from front-panel pushbuttons, the supplied remote control and IR receiver, an RS232 serial connection, or the WebGUI over the RJ-45 network port.
The steel chassis is 43.7 cm wide and ships with mounting brackets, so it can sit on a shelf or go into a rack. A universal power adapter with NA/JP, EU, UK and ANZ plugs is included, along with the remote, IR receiver and manual. StarTech.com backs it with a two-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
