Description

This kit is a transmitter and four receivers that between them take one HDMI source out to four remote displays over ordinary CAT6 or CAT6a cabling, at distances up to 70 m. Video is carried losslessly at 4K 60Hz with two-channel audio, so the far displays see the same picture as a directly connected screen.

All four receivers draw their power from the transmitter over the same network cable, so only one mains outlet is needed at the head end. That is often the deciding factor in ceiling and lectern installations where there is no spare socket at the display. IR blaster and receivers are supplied so the source can still be controlled from the far end.

The kit needs no drivers, software or IP configuration and works with any operating system and hardware platform. Mounting brackets are supplied for all five units for wall, ceiling or under-table fixing. Note that the extender must be connected directly and cannot pass through network switching equipment. StarTech.com provides a two-year warranty.
