The SMART Board Mini 727 is a 27" 4K interactive podium built for presenting to a room while facing the audience rather than the screen. It suits lecterns in auditoriums and lecture halls, but also works as a desktop unit in training rooms, huddle spaces, classrooms and personal offices.

The panel is 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 60Hz, 400 cd/m² brightness, with optically bonded anti-glare and anti-fingerprint glass, a 14ms response time and a 178° viewing angle. Touch is PCAP with 10 points, palm rejection and a minimum object size of 1.5mm. A stylus using Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP 2.0) is included, with magnetic holders on both the left and right sides.

For video conferencing it carries a 4K AI-enabled camera, an eight-microphone array with built-in acoustic echo cancellation, and two integrated 6W speakers.

Two computing routes are supported. Connect a laptop over a single USB-C cable for touch, video, audio and 65W charging, or fit an optional SMART OPS PC module. The Mini 727 is the only interactive podium with an integrated OPS slot, so it can run as a standalone Windows or Android endpoint with users logging in on their own credentials.

Content mirrors to a secondary display or projector over HDMI 2.1 or USB-C output with no splitters or switches required, and a single cable extends touch and digital ink to that second screen. Paired with a SMART interactive display it gives real-time dual-screen touchback.

Inputs include HDMI 2.1 with HDCP 2.3, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.0 Type-A and Type-B, and RJ45. A utility bar handles ink colour, audio and the privacy shade, and a physical remote is included.

Mounting is flexible: freestanding on a desk, on a monitor arm, or embedded into a lectern. VESA 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm.

Supplied with a power adapter and country-specific cable, a 2m USB 3.0 Type-A to Type-B cable, a 1.8m USB-C cable and mounting hardware.
