Description

The MM 435 is the top of Sennheiser's dynamic module range and the acknowledged successor to the MD 9235 head used in demanding live and broadcast productions. Its aluminium-copper voice coil is very light and responds quickly, which is what gives it detailed, transparent high frequencies rather than the softer top end of a typical dynamic.

It is sensitive in the sense that matters — it resolves nuance in a vocal — while remaining robust in handling. The cardioid pattern lets the user work at varying distances and angles without the tone collapsing, and gives reliable protection against feedback. The capsule is spring-mounted inside a rugged metal basket to shield it from body-borne noise, and a hum compensation coil removes electromagnetic interference.

This is a module only. It fits any Sennheiser wireless system that uses the standard capsule interface; the transmitter and receiver are separate purchases. Sennheiser's standard warranty is two years.
