Description

The Rally Camera Extension Kit separates a Logitech Rally Camera from the device driving it. A camera side base sits under the camera and links back over a single category cable to a control side box at the PC, which presents the camera over USB-C. That takes the camera up to 100 m from the room system on Cat5e or better with a cable diameter up to 7.4 mm, with actual reach depending on the cable used.

The camera side base is a 153.3 mm disc with an integrated USB-C lead to the Rally Camera, an RJ45 to the control side and an LED status indicator. It mounts on VESA 75 x 75 mm, on 5/8-27 or 1/4-20 tripod threads, or directly onto the supplied twist-to-lock plate. The control side box carries a reboot button and status LED on the front, and USB-C, RJ45, DC power, cable retention and two mounting slots on the rear so it can be fixed to a wall, table or shelf.

Everything needed to install is in the box: both units, the twist-to-lock mounting plate, a power adapter with regional plugs, a 2 m USB-C to USB-C cable with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a 5/8-27 to 1/4-20 threaded adapter. The kit requires a Rally Camera and a host running Windows 10 or later, or one of the two most recent macOS releases. Note that this product is listed by some distributors as an Expansion Kit; Logitech's own name for part number 952-000217 is the Rally Camera Extension Kit.
