Description

Compass is Logitech's broadcast boom arm, designed to get a microphone off the desk and in front of the speaker without becoming the thing everyone looks at. It mounts with a C-clamp to a desk edge and swings through 360 degrees, with a maximum horizontal reach of 81 cm.

The load rating is 1.1 kg including the microphone and its shockmount, which covers the Yeti range and most broadcast condensers and dynamics. Threading is the standard 15.8 mm size with an adapter supplied for 9.5 mm mounts, so it fits essentially any studio microphone.

Cable management runs inside a hidden channel along the arm rather than in external clips, which keeps the XLR or USB lead out of shot and out of the way when the arm is moved.
