Description

The base configuration of Logitech's Room Solutions for Google Meet supplies the control and compute half of a Meet room without a conference camera. It is intended for rooms where the camera and audio are chosen separately, or where existing Google Meet approved peripherals are being reused, and it keeps the same pre-configured, boxed-together delivery as the full room kits.

The kit contains a Logitech Tap touch controller with its Cat5e Kit and a Google-approved ChromeOS compute system, together with a compute mount that secures the appliance and its cabling to a wall or beneath a table. The mount fits small form factor computers and Google Meet compute systems with a 75 mm or 100 mm VESA pattern and includes a two-piece cable retention clamp.

Control is by a Logitech Tap touch controller: a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 touchscreen set at a 14 degree angle, with an oleophobic anti-glare coating, an integrated PIR motion sensor for always-on readiness and an HDMI input for wired 1080p content sharing. The supplied Cat5e Kit carries both USB data and power over category cable, so Tap needs no power outlet at the table; 2.97 m and 7.0 m Cat5e leads are included and installer-supplied runs of up to 40 m total are supported. Tap has two Kensington lock slots, a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern and optional table, riser and wall mounts. A Google Meet hardware licence and a certified camera are required and are not included.
