Description
The LG 49UH5Q-E is a 49-inch UH5Q-E standard UHD signage display, using a 3840 x 2160 IPS panel with 500 nit typical brightness and a 1,100:1 contrast ratio. Slim, visually balanced bezels and a 178 x 178 degree viewing angle make it suited to retail, corporate lobby and wayfinding installations where the panel needs to look good from wide seating angles. A high-performance embedded SoC runs LG's webOS 8.0 smart signage platform, so playlists, scheduling and group management can all be handled without an external media player, and the panel is compatible with LG's SuperSign content management software for larger multi-screen estates. Conformal coating on the power board protects the electronics against salt, dust and humidity, and LG Shield's five-tier security architecture (server, application, OS, system and hardware) protects the unit against tampering. The 49UH5Q-E supports portrait and landscape mounting and is a standard non-touch signage display; it does not offer overlay touch functionality.
